Re.visions.

Shabd's SS10 collection may finally convince me to throw some dollars down (but doubtful).
Her original dyes that had everyone talking definitely got me excited but something about them still felt too close to your everyday tie dye kit like we do for FHE.
These new pieces however!!! I sigh.
Why have I never thought to do tights! That is my next DIY project.
In fifth grade we had what was called "Colonial Days."  I created natural dyes with my Mom standing at the kitchen stove with beets and other goods we snagged from our garden. We soaked cloth in the boiled juices.  I want to mess around with natural dyes again. They provide such nice muddy colors - Indigo, Henna, Alkanet and Madder.

"All I want" is someone who makes new things of any sort and thinks about them.

The wharf painting and the tile were the only two things I wanted to purchase in Portugal.
I decided to not get either. Now I wish I had. But I took a picture to remember them. Almost as good!
