I was looking at this month's world of interiors at work and it features the profile of a old shop in PORTO, PORTUGAL (my favorite city in Portugal) which has been selling seeds and bulbs in a beautiful premises since 1921. I was so excited to see the article because I ran into this shop on my solo day I had to myself in Porto. When I was inside it I felt like there was something different in a good way about this little shop. The old man owner wears a double-breasted suit to work every day with a floral tie. Impeccable daily dressing that some old men do! He and his assistant slowly and carefully weigh out the seeds and bulbs in big handled measuring jugs, package them up in paper bags and hand-write the name of their contents on the front like a herbalist or pharmacist.
