The Nature of Order

BIRTH.DAY day one & day two

Last night the 6th of January, my friends and I went to SLOW CLUB for a birthday meal!
I feel so lucky and blessed to have them in my life.  I told Anisha as I looked down the table "I feel like a proud Mom". Each person plays an awesome role in my life.  Last year on my birthday I was in the sky coming home from spending time with Tim in Dubai. Because of the time change I had two days of birthday! This year on my actual day of birth the 5th, I went and served dinner to the homeless.  There is a gorgeous Lutheran church at 1111 O'Farrell Street where I prepped, served, and cleaned up the meal. It was a great night. I got to meet and work with random interesting people from the Lutheran and Presbyterian faith. The 80 men we were feeding were so grateful for a warm meal, and a smile. Good ways to spend my nights!
